Mountain Highs and Valley Lows

Sometimes we must travel through the valley lows,

But if we take the time to observe then we too can grow.

And often on the mountain highs

We become complacent and some things can die.

I have had my share of highs and lows

I have learned in life that is how things go.

But remember when on that mountain high

If we are not careful, we too can die.

We see little good when in the valley low,

But if we look to God we can truly grow.

We should learn from the lows, and live for the highs

But no matter where keep our eyes to the skies.

We will often be sent through a valley low

And why this will happen, only God really knows.

But learn from the low time and strive for the highs

And focus on God and reach for his prize.

God will be with you in those valley lows,

And stand firm beside you wherever you go.

But remember once you reach that mountain high

Do not from his face, turn your eyes.

God has shown me many things in the valley lows

You must stop and listen to the sorrowful woes.

Learn from the lows, celebrate the highs

Focus on him and he can change your lives.

Life is often described as Mountain Highs and Valley lows,

But look about you and see where we, and life, truly grow.

Often mountain tops are rocky and bare

But look in the valleys, life is abundant there.
